In another life, Bev Dunbar is also a respected Mathematics Education Consultant. Her business, Maths Matters, is dedicated to helping children understand and enjoy Mathematics with more effective, targeted activities. Since 1975, Bev has had a wide experience working closely with 5 -12 year old students, teachers, parents and pre-service teachers at University, especially the University of Sydney and the Australian Catholic University. Bev is the author of more than 30 books for teachers and parents on how to teach practical Mathematics to young children.


Bev has created a unique subscription website for teachers of primary mathematics. Maths Matters Resources is packed full of targeted classroom activities, mathematics photographs and graphics to help teachers make their mathematics sessions come alive for  their 5 – 12 year old students.
